Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of this website and, where noted, the quotes and orders we provide. Please read them before submitting a request.
Use of this website
You may use this site to learn about our products and to request a quote. You agree not to use it to transmit unlawful material, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt unauthorized access to any part of it.
Content and trademarks
The text, layout, photography, and design of this site are owned by Lakeland Graphics or used under license, and are protected by copyright. The Lakeland Graphics name and logo are our trademarks. You may not reproduce or republish site content without our written permission.
Product photography on this site is illustrative. It shows the kind of work we do and is not a representation of any specific customer's project.
Quote requests are not orders
Submitting the quote form starts a conversation — it does not create a contract. A binding order exists only when we issue a written quote and you approve it, and when we accept your purchase order or payment terms in writing.
Quotes and pricing
- Quotes are based on the specifications, quantities, and materials described at the time of quoting.
- Changes to artwork, quantity, material, or turnaround may change the price.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and are subject to material cost changes outside our control.
- Prices exclude shipping and applicable taxes unless the quote says otherwise.
Your artwork and files
By sending us artwork, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that printing it will not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights. You agree to indemnify Lakeland Graphics against claims arising from artwork you supply.
You retain ownership of your artwork. We keep production files so reorders match your original job.
Proofs and approval
We provide a proof for your review before production. It is your responsibility to check spelling, dimensions, part numbers, color direction, and placement. Once you approve a proof, production proceeds against that approval, and errors present in an approved proof are not eligible for reprint at our cost.
Color on a screen will not match printed output exactly. If exact color is critical, tell us and we'll work to a physical target or a specified color standard.
Production and delivery
Turnaround times are estimates that begin when we have final approved artwork and any required deposit. We work hard to hit committed dates, but we are not liable for delays caused by carriers, material shortages, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Custom work, overruns, and cancellation
- Our products are custom-manufactured to your specification and are not returnable for reasons other than a defect on our part.
- Cancelling after production begins may incur charges for materials and labor already committed.
- Minor variation in quantity, trim, and color is normal in commercial printing.
Warranty
We warrant that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will match the approved proof. If something is wrong with an order, contact us promptly and we'll make it right — by reprinting, replacing, or crediting the affected work.
Because we cannot control how, where, or by whom our graphics are installed or maintained, this warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, surface preparation, abrasion, chemical exposure beyond the material's rating, accident, or normal wear.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, downtime, or the cost of installation or removal.
Payment
Payment terms are set out on your quote or invoice. Past-due balances may be subject to a service charge. Title to goods passes on full payment.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. The terms in effect when you approve a quote govern that order.

A note for your attorney: this draft reflects how a custom printing shop typically does business, but the warranty, liability, and payment sections carry real financial consequences. Have counsel review and adjust them to match your actual invoice terms before launch.
